Design a Delta Airline Ticket for a specific user.
I researched current airline tickets as well as what was the most important parts of the ticket for customers. Key parts of the ticket include the gate ticket, flight number, and destination, influencing my decision to give hierarchy to these elements in my concept sketches. I created a persona using the passenger scenario to give me a better understanding of the customers' needs.
For the design, I wanted to incorporate elements of the Delta logo and use a hierarchy of scale with my typography. In my initial sketches, I explored these ideas in four different layouts.
For my final design, I merged my icons from one of the sketches onto my design which shows the Delta logo as an arrow symbol. I used color screens of the existing color scheme for cost-effectiveness, making it a three-spot color. Later, in Photoshop I created a mockup of the ticket to show how it may exist in real life.
